Teachers for grades 4-12Overview:
Update: Sept. 28, 2017 – This workshop is full. See below for online lessons and resources related to this workshop.
Back by popular demand, this educator workshop explores activities that bring standards-aligned, NASA engineering into the classroom – and that can be easily modified for all grade levels. We will focus on bringing Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) to your students with activities that have them build models, make revisions, and operate within representative engineering constraints. Come join us to design a mission to Mars, then construct a rover to drive around on the surface!
- This workshop is not available online; you must physically be present to participate
- This workshop is limited to educators at U.S.-based institutions and organizations

- Lesson Collection: The Design Process - These standards-aligned lessons and activities get students using the engineering design process to launch rockets, build rovers, and land "astronauts"
- Educator Tool: Engineering in the Classroom - Learn how NGSS for engineering are used at JPL and get activities and tips for bringing them to your students.
