Second OPERA Workshop
The second OPERA workshop took place on September 2, 2022, as a hybrid workshop hosted physically in the Beckman Institute Auditorium (400 S Wilson Avenue, Pasadena, CA 91106) on the Caltech campus. The objectives of the event were to:
- Describe the validation approach and results to date for surface water and disturbance products
- Inform community users on how and where to access DSWx and DIST products
- Introduce the Coregistered Single-look Complex (CSLC) and Radiometric Terrain Corrected (RTC) SAR backscatter products
- Identify key community partners for the next cycle of product working groups
Workshop Report and Flyer
The report (coming soon) summarizes workshop objectives, presented material, feedback from the attendees, and outcomes, including specific agency interests and use-cases for the Dynamic Surface Water Extent (DSWx), Disturbance (DIST), Radiometric Terrain Corrected (RTC), and Coregistered SLC (CSLC) product suites. Map and Parking
Workshop in person on Friday, September 2, from 9 am to 1 pm Pacific Time at the Beckman Institute Auditorium (400 S Wilson Ave, Pasadena, CA 91106) on the Caltech campus. Below is more information regarding the workshop.
Parking – On-campus parking is available at the North Wilson Parking Structure (Wilson Parking Structure, S Wilson Ave, Pasadena, CA 91106) near the corner of Wilson Avenue and Del Mar Boulevard. There is a pay station where you can purchase a day pass for $9. If you have a valid JPL parking pass, Caltech will honor your pass.
