Earth Orientation Parameters

WARNING

The UT1 and LOD values included in the IVS submission to ITRF2020 and that were used to produce JTRF2020 included anomalous tidal signals. Therefore, the JTRF2020 UT1 and LOD values, which are available here, include the anomalous tidal signals and should not be used. The JTRF2020 UT1 and LOD values will be replaced by corrected values once they are available.

About JTRF2020 EOPs

Earth Orientation Parameters (EOPs) are concomitantly adjusted with station positions and the Helmerts. In our combination scheme, the daily station positions derived from the four space-geodetic techniques are assimilated along with EOPs and, when available, site tie observations. Each aggregated SINEX file available from sideshow contains the daily station positions and their full covariance matrix. The EOPs (values and uncertainties for polar motion, polar motion rate, UT1, and LOD) are available from the table below. The EOPs are given at daily intervals although gaps exist in the time series especially in the early years of the JTRF2020 solution.
